These are the tracks that run about a mile behind our apartment. I wanted to paint something that was in Westfield for a show that I will be in, in Westfield next week. I love the sky in this one. The sky always seems to be my favorite part of a painting.

Barcelona Harbor

This is the harbor at Barcelona, which is about 2 miles from Westfield. Lake Erie can be so beautiful! I sold this piece to a couple who planned to put on their porch. I personalized it by painting their last name over the sky. They were very pleased by this.

Autumn gorge
This is just west of my favorite place in the Chautauqua gorge. It is one of the best places to find shale. It's gorgeous in every season.

The Old Railroad Bridge

This is the old railroad bridge that goes over little Chautauqua creek. It is one of my biggest pieces of shale. It is 22x24 inches, and probably weighs 50 lbs. Joel and I took a walk up this way on Memorial day weekend. It's such a pretty area.
