Gladiolas

Joel and I went to the grand opening of new town offices in Mayville NY last Saturday. It is a beautiful building. They had flowers everywhere, and I fell in love with gladiolas. They are a beautiful flower!

While visiting my family in Missouri, I was asked to do this painting for a friend of my aunt. I have had this picture to paint for quite a while. I love the colors, and the last feeling of warmth that you can almost feel from the sun going down.

This is another view from the same day as Summer Vineyard. I love the sky. It was such a beautiful day! The picture doesn't show the vineyard very well, because of the ridges on the shale.

Fishermen at Sunset

This is a picture that Joel took last summer while fishing. This is at the very end of Chautauqua Creek, where it meets Lake Erie. I love this sunset.
