It seems to take a moment of writer's block that gets me back to painting lately.  So here I am, unable to write, but painting.  I don't know if you'll be able to tell, but I love lighthouse scenes, as well as storms.  The look of the sky in this one, gives me a near shiver of excitement.  :)  Hope you enjoy it.

Well, I'm back.  This is the first painting that I have done on shale in a long time.  I was asked to do a few lighthouse paintings for some old friends of my family, so it's gotten me back to the art desk.  This painting is a combination of one of my favorite places, along with a lighthouse that I found intriguing.  No, this place doesn't really exist, only in my imagination.
