Well, here I am. This picture was taken last week at Art in the Park and was in this week's paper. Yes, I am officially newsworthy. :) It has been great to get out, show my work, have so many pieces purchased and I've also gotten a lot of different tips, which I am doing my best to follow. This summer has been the best that I have had, in a very long time.

First Abstract

Since I always do landscapes and seascapes, I decided to try something different. I am interested to see what people will think of it. It was interesting to do and is something that won't appeal to everyone, but there's something about it that I like. It's different and was also fun to do, so maybe I'll start trying things like this out, if a bit more planned out. :)
The Rays of Hope
You may have noticed, if you've seen many of my pieces, that I adore sunsets over the water. There is nothing that I find more peaceful, than this type of scene. I hope you find it as relaxing as I do. This piece, as well as the majority of the rest of my best pieces are being displayed at Art in the Park in Westfield, every Saturday, from 8:00-1:00. The Chautauqua Bell Tower

The Bell Tower is a Chautauqua County sight to see. It is a beautiful place, in the Chautauqua Institution, which is a few miles to the east of Westfield. If you're ever in this area, I recommend going to see it.

I realized that I hadn't done a landscape in quite a while, so sat down to do this one. This is what I like to think of as an iconic Westfield scene, the vineyards and the gorgeous big skies with perfect sunsets.
