Gladiolas

Joel and I went to the grand opening of new town offices in Mayville NY last Saturday. It is a beautiful building. They had flowers everywhere, and I fell in love with gladiolas. They are a beautiful flower!

Bug Bite
This is a flower that my husband found in the Chautauqua gorge. I don't have any idea what kind of flower it is. It is a very small piece of shale, only 6in x 7in.
Creek Flowers
Again, I have no idea what these flowers are. I had never painted anything pink before, usually preferring brighter colors. I like them quite a bit now!
Daffodils
This is a nice little piece of shale as well. It is 9in x 6in. I love the colors of the flowers, which is why I painted them!
Forget Me Not
I like these flowers. They are from the side of a path that goes through the Chautauqua gorge. They seem so dreamy to me.

What's Up Buttercups

These are the first flowers that I ever painted. The shale is much smaller than it looks. It is 9in x 6in. It is one of my favorites.
